…from China, where the Christmas spirit unfortunately leaves much to be deserved. It’s simply a commercial Western tradition that gets exploited remarkably here in Shanghai. The Chinese themselves don’t celebrate this for Western people ‘holy’ festivity.

Nevertheless I somehow don’t want to skip that beloved time once a year. It’s a special situation not being home with my family traditionally celebrating. One more proof that we tend to take very precious moments in our lives for granted…
